Trichur to Chennai – Bhavana’s bio-data
After ‘Chithiram Pesudhadi,’ Bhavana has captured the hearts of many.
She has a long list of films on hand including Arya, Koodal Nagar, Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai, Veyil, Naan Kadavul and so on.
In Chennai for the photography session of ‘Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai,’ we asked Bhavana about herself.
“I was born in Perungkavoor in Thrissur district. My father Balachandran has a good name in Malayalam cinema for his camera work. My dad loves to take photographs of me. Director Kamal happened to see one such photo of mine and that’s how I became the heroine of ‘Nammal.’ The film ran well and I got good offers after that. That’s why I am still in the film field.
My Tamil film ‘Chithiram Pesudhadi’ became a hit and I found a place in Kollywood. Till Plus 2, I’ve been wearing my school uniform with a pinafore reaching above my knees. Now I have started wearing all sorts of colorful costumes and doing duets in films.
I am now pursuing my studies by postal education. I am doing BA in English literature. Please pray that I get pass marks!”
For Bhavana, one can even tonsure one’s head to Lord Venkateswara!
