The user titles are mere indicators of how many posts the member has made on Masala Board. Here are the titles and minimum no. of posts:

Masala Newbie - Less than 30 posts
Masala Member - 30 to 99 posts
Masala Senior Member - 100 to 299 posts
Masala Guru - 300 to 999 posts
Masala Maha Guru - 1000 to 2499 posts
Masala Super Guru - 2500 to 4999 posts
Masala Champion - 5000 to 9999 posts
Masala Maha Champion - 10000 to 19999 posts
Masala Super Champion - 20000 or more posts

The only other titles you will see on Masala Board are Administrator and Special Masalaite which are reserved for the admin and moderators.
